Great read!

I loved that this whole series has a story line to it. Twists and turns and unexpected events! Not just hot and steamy romance, the story keeps you hooked. The only thing that I kept questioning ( unless I missed it ) was when Ellie gets arrested after Blake attacks her, I thought she recorded it on her phone? Wouldn’t that be enough evidence?

So when I first started reading books on this platform I told myself I would not pay for a book. I’d only read the free ones. I came across the Black Series and instantly fell in love. I purchased all the books and read the entire serious in a matter of days. These books are beautifully written and the love story is amazing. I felt all the emotions they felt, love, worry, anxiety, happiness, relief, sadness. It was literally like escaping into their world and away from mine. I read A LOT and I read a lot of different genres, it is hard to for me to escape 100% but this serious did just that. I would start reading and before I new it hours had passed and I was purchasing the next book to see what happened. Thank you Charlotte Byrd for your beautifully amazing writing. I look forward to reading more from you. Thank you for allowing me to escape into the story and sharing your words. I normally just rate books with the stars, this is my first review I’ve written, but I needed you to know just how amazing your series is and how it let me escape from everything going on in my world into your characters world. I hope you never stop sharing you writing with the world. It is a true work of art! Thank you!

I would give the series over all four stars! This last book though....it felt very rushed. If the author could have stretched these five books into six I think the story would have been told better. I felt like Caroline’s story didn’t have an appropriate ending and I felt that all the drama in books three and four would have made more of an impact stretched into a 6 book series. The ending was ok but wasn’t fit for all that the Ellie and Aiden went through. I honestly feel like the author just wanted to get the story over with in this book.

I like the way it was written. Almost as if it’s the authors very own story. Like she’s Ellie. However , I was gonna give this book 4 stars but the more I think about the books the more I wanna lower the ratings. It’s like you didn’t put ay care into it at all. However, could’ve been proof read. Lots and lots of repeated things. Like 20% of the books is something being said AGAIN. Be it from the very same book or a previous book. Like Brie coming out (sorta) in the book before this. The author repeated that whole thing again, before Elise wedding. Like it was new information. Also Ellie calling Brie she over and over even when just narrating is silly. Could’ve just said they. Also why did you change Brie (aka annebelle) name ? And age? Weird inconsistent timeline on the pregnacy. Another thing that’s bothering me so much is how Aiden is suddenly an only child ??? When in the first book he said that he grew up sorta poor, just him and his little brother and his parents. Lots of inconsistencies like that. Lots Of random drama for the sake of drama. There was also a rude attitude towards readers.

This series started out exciting and just kept on rolling. The story takes you on a rollercoaster ride of excitement and drama with romance in between. I started with the first book and just had to keep going to the end. Well done! Gladly recommend this series!

When in the first book he said that he grew up sorta poor, just him and his little brother and his parents. Lots of inconsistencies like that. Lots Of random drama for the sake of drama. There was also a rude attitude towards readers.

This series started out exciting and just kept on rolling. The story takes you on a rollercoaster ride of excitement and drama with romance in between. I started with the first book and just had to keep going to the end. Well done! Gladly recommend this series!

Great read!

I loved that this whole series has a story line to it. Twists and turns and unexpected events! Not just hot and steamy romance, the story keeps you hooked. The only thing that I kept questioning ( unless I missed it ) was when Ellie gets arrested after Blake attacks her, I thought she recorded it on her phone? Wouldn’t that be enough evidence?

So when I first started reading books on this platform I told myself I would not pay for a book. I’d only read the free ones. I came across the Black Series and instantly fell in love. I purchased all the books and read the entire serious in a matter of days. These books are beautifully written and the love story is amazing. I felt all the emotions they felt, love, worry, anxiety, happiness, relief, sadness. It was literally like escaping into their world and away from mine. I read A LOT and I read a lot of different genres, it is hard to for me to escape 100% but this serious did just that. I would start reading and before I new it hours had passed and I was purchasing the next book to see what happened. Thank you Charlotte Byrd for your beautifully amazing writing. I look forward to reading more from you. Thank you for allowing me to escape into the story and sharing your words. I normally just rate books with the stars, this is my first review I’ve written, but I needed you to know just how amazing your series is and how it let me escape from everything going on in my world into your characters world. I would give the series over all four stars! This last book though....it felt very rushed. If the author could have stretched these five books into six I think the story would have been told better. I felt like Caroline’s story didn’t have an appropriate ending and I felt that all the drama in books three and four would have made more of an impact stretched into a 6 book series. The ending was ok but wasn’t fit for all that the Ellie and Aiden went through. I honestly feel like the author just wanted to get the story over with in this book.
